The psychology of ceremony series: resurrecting your Wild Woman

A 3-part series to connect you to your deeper truth and Wild Woman Archetype.

At this time in our humanity, many women are beginning to feel the call to rise up and reclaim the unintegrated aspects of divine femininity.  For too long women have been kept quite, been forced to be nice, and become disconnected from the fire that burns in the female spirit.  This series offers the time for you to make space for all your parts, even the fierce uncomfortable ones like rage, despair, or dependency, that have been banished to the shadow realm.

The American culture has long forgotten the sacred art of ceremony and ritual.  Much unnecessary neurosis could find a remedy of sweet relief in taking the time to ceremonial honor the Earth and give thanks.  Tribal cultures remember traditions we have lost, and offer reminders of the vital importance of community and a circle of women gathering together.   Ceremony allows us to bring together symbols and archtypes in an effort to bring order to the chaos of the unconscious  mind.  It’s a chance for us to come home to ourselves and make more room for all the negative emotions we try desperately to deny.

Once a month, on a Monday, we will come together to shed our stories and reclaim the lost parts of the self, in order to to live our soul’s purpose.   Each ceremony will incorporate yoga, meditation/visualization, yoga nidra, depth psychology, and a variety of trauma releasing exerices to call forth your Wild Woman Nature.

The series will be held on the 1st Monday of each month, beginning March 5th, 2018 at Eastside Yoga in Austin, TX.
