Kelli Foulkrod, MS, LPA, LPC

Kelli Foulkrod is a holistic trauma therapist, advocate, researcher, and a psych drug withdrawal consultant based in Austin, Texas (and virtually in Colorado). She has been working in the mental health field for 23 years and for the past 16 years, she has managed a holistic psychotherapy practice.

Kelli is passionate about holistic alternatives to mainstream mental health treatments, and helping people to exit the mental health system all together. Before becoming a therapist, she worked as a clinical researcher in universities and private psychiatric hospitals. It was her time working as a research clinician on studies bringing ssris to market that shifted her career. Instead of diagnosing and drugging people, Kelli learned that providing education on trauma, the body, and root cause solutions was the way to ensure people don’t get trapped as life long customers in the mental health system.

She is a passionate about teaching holistic options for women’s mental health in all stages of life: puberty, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, infant loss, birth trauma, perimenopause and menopause. Kelli was a founding board member of the nonprofit organization, Pregnancy and Postpartum Health Alliance of Texas and ran postpartum support groups for many years.

Kelli has extensive experience working with clients with mold toxicity, iatrogenic injuries, and multiple chemical sensitivities to recover from medical trauma. As well as those healing from spiritual and religious trauma or abuse.

From her own healing process, Kelli learned the profound impact of faith, clean nutrition, nature, exercise, nervous system support, and community for health. She is currently working on a startup company to combine regenerative agriculture with holistic trauma healing to create new models to the current broken mental health system.
